The Family Services Office coordinates and connects the wide range of services available to students, employees, and their families at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg and Erlangen University Hospital. The Family Services Office is available to advise you on all matters related to balancing work and family life.

Erlangen University Hospital

The Family Service’s close ties to Erlangen University Hospital (UKER), FAU’s primary client, are particularly noteworthy. As an institution of FAU, the Family Service focuses equally on the employees of the University Hospital and on the members of the FAU community. Through its initiatives, it promotes a better work-life balance at UKER. This is done in close collaboration with UKER’s internal family coordination office.
