Safety instructions for pregnant women and nursing mothers in PCB buildings

Relevant buildings are appropriately signposted on site (see right for example).

Protective measures for pregnant women and nursing mothers must be taken immediately to rule out any risk to mother and child. Even the first three months of pregnancy are crucial.

Please report your pregnancy or that you are breastfeeding promptly.

Employees contact your supervisor who will conduct the risk assessment.

Students contact the ZBS (Student Advice Center).

Please note the special protective measures required for pregnant and nursing women in this building due to PCB exposure.

Contact the company physician at baed-anmeldung@fau.de if you will be in the building for an extended period of time.

If you have any questions or need advice, contact the Occupational Health and Safety Department.
